Athletic OF with left handed bat and smooth stroke. 6'3" 180 lean wiry frame, sloped shoulders, high waist and room for muscular and weight gains. Tall slightly open stance with hands shoulder high. Rhythmic sway load with direct slight uppercut swing path. Middle to opposite filed approach with solid average bat speed. Future plus raw power with ability to get natural backspin and loft on the baseball. Average arm strength with clean arm swing and instincts to make plays gap to gap. 55 type runner with a 6.75 60 time. Upside in the body and bat; ASU commit.

At the Baseball Showcase World Series Jose sat 91-92mph and topped out at 93mph. Also, shows the ability to spin a plus breaking ball for strikes. The Arizona commit is sure to attract attention from pro scouts with his 6'3" frame. Delivery: Short side step delivery, with high leg kick and plus hip load. Quick arm action with firm frontside.

HS Catcher with plus arm strength and ability to receive. 6'180 athletic wiry frame with sloped shoulders and flexibility; room for muscular and weight gains. Narrow base with hands just below shoulders. Medium length stride loading hands to launch position. Hands get on plane early with feel to hit the baseball to all parts of the field. Gap to gap approach in game with ability to control the zone. Defensively his tools jump out with plus arm strength and 1.84 pop times. Sits low to the ground with elbow out front. Has soft reliable hands and gets strikes called. Showed ability to block the baseball laterally and control the run game.

Eli Young jumped onto the scene at The Baseball Showcase World Series in 2018. Strong impressive frame and with plus power at the plate. He has the pedigree, being the son of former major leaguer Ernie Young. We are looking for him to have a big year at Gilbert HS this season.

Preston Clifford is a gamer! MIF with plus arm strength and feel to hit. 5'11" 170 athletic frame with slightly sloped shoulders and strength in lower half. Medium wide base with knees bent and hands shoulder high. Simple rock back load with direct level swing path. Gap to gap approach with doubles power. Defensively anticipates the ball off the bat and fields the ball low to the ground with reliable hands. Plus arm strength with ability to throw from multiple angles. Solid average runner with a 6.94 60 time

Athletic MIF with strong quick swing. 6' 170 compact frame with strength throughout body. Medium wide slightly open stance with hands shoulder high and high back elbow. Early rock back load with low to ground stride. Loads back hip creating energy and power in swing. Slight uppercut swing path with gap to gap approach. Power is best to RCF. Feel for bat to ball. On the dirt can play multiple positions with soft reliable hands and 55 arm strength. 7.4 60 time but shows instincts on bases. ASU commit
#7 Adam Parra

Durable RHP with heavy FB and feel for CB. 6'2" 211 strong durable frame with broad slightly sloped shoulders and strength in lower half. Semi-windup delivery with medium high athletic leg lift to back shoulder with average hip load. Separates over the rubber with medium high firm front side. Semi-circle directional stride with flexed to firm landing. Power arm from 3/4 arm slot. FB up to 88 with more in tank playing heavy through the zone. CB with 11/5 shape and natural spin. Controlled the zone and aggressive with FB to both halves. Like the arm strength here in future.

Northern Colorado Commit
CJ Valdez has a strong athletic frame. His plus power at the plate comes from a short smooth stroke. CJ hit a couple balls half way up the light tower at our Pro Day workout, very impressive! He possesses an above average arm at short stop that will play at college and pro levels. His 60 yd dash time was 7.0 seconds which is MLB average. Going to be a dude, looking forward to great year from CJ at Perry HS.

#9 Jackson Moltz
RHP Pinnacle HS
6'3"195lb RHP Jackson Moltz showed off some impressive stuff at the Labor Day Baseball Showcase tournament. He shows a high leg kick, strong frontside and good direction down the mound. Jackson's arm works well and shows a feel for 11-5 curveball. His fastball sat 82-85mph and topped out at 88mph. If your a college still looking for an arm in the 2019 class, Moltz is your guy!
#10 Cameron Pehrson
SS Campo Verde
Cameron Pehrson impressed at the Labor Day Baseball Showcase tournament. He showed good speed on the bath paths and a plus bat at the plate. Line drive hitter, a threat on the bases, and plus defender with a strong arm. And at 6'1" 170 lbs he checks all the boxes to play at the next level. It will be fun to watch him show off his skills at Campo this year.
#11 Terrell Hudson
3B/1b/RHP
UNM Commit
Terrell Hudson has a big frame, big bat, and plus arm. Definitely what you are looking for in a corner infielder at the next level. Hudson can run it up to 89 mph off the bump. At the plate we have seen him put it out of the park on numerous occasions. Great pick up for UNM.
