13-year-old Estrada solid in 16U championship game

Chris Estrada was one of the standout players for his team, Dallas Tigers El Paso, in this past Sunday’s 16U championship game of the Baseball Showcase Oppo Taco tournament in Goodyear, Arizona. Estrada, just 13, helped his team to a runner-up finish in the tournament. In the championship game, Estrada contributed with an RBI-single and a walk.

Estrada said his success was in hitting, getting his swing down and trying to adjust.

Outside of baseball, Estrada plays football. His life goal is to play professionally in either the MLB or the NFL. He currently attends Sun Ridge Middle School in El Paso, TX where he plays on the baseball team.
