Estrada’s championship performance leads to all-star game selection

Edgar Estrada is the shortstop for DB9. He helped his team to a runner-up finish in the 16U Baseball Showcase World Series this past weekend in Mesa, Arizona. He had a crucial RBI-triple late in the championship game to give his team life before the game was called due to time constraints.

“It felt pretty good catching up to it,” Estrada said. “Felt really good off the barrel.”

Due to his performance in the championship game, Estrada was selected for the 16U all-star game.

Estrada, 15, is a sophomore at Mountain View High School where he plays baseball. He said his life goal is to see where baseball goes. Outside of baseball, he said he enjoys hanging out with friends.
