Juarez’s bat helps 16U World Series Championship

Luis Juarez was 2-2 with an RBI and a walk in the championship game of the 16U Baseball Showcase World Series on Jun. 30 in Mesa, Arizona. His performance helped his team, the Raskulls, win a close, 3-2 ballgame.

Juarez said it was “awesome” to win the championship and he has been “working nonstop.”

The 15-year-old will be a sophomore at Tempe High School where he plays baseball. Outside of baseball, he enjoys playing video games with his favorite being “Call of Duty”. After high school, Juarez wants to go to college. He has been invited to the 16U all-star game where he said he hopes to play “against” his teammate Adan Alvarado.
